The Frerichs family will share their Alpacas at EcoFest. These curious animals provide premium alpaca fiber to create all types of products including yarn for knitting, Alpaca nest (bird balls), dryer balls and art.

Barnyard Discoveries is a mobile farm experience that provides a rare opportunity to learn about the importance of farming while enjoying a truly interactive experience for all the senses. This mobile farm features a fully enclosed, handicap accessible trailer filled with a variety of animals and interactive learning tools. Farm Facts are posted about each animal in the exhibit along with explanations of all types of farming methods.

11 a.m. | Rael Shaun
- Rael Shaun is a folk and country singer/songwriter who loves telling stories through music. With just her voice & acoustic guitar, she keeps things simple, drawing inspiration from everyday life and the world around her. Playing both originals and covers, her songs have a raw, heartfelt feel, blending classic folk and country. Rael’s music is all about connecting with people through real, down-to-earth songs.
1 p.m. | Cedar County Cobras
- Cedar County Cobras arrive with an upright bass, foot drum, and several guitars to play American Roots & Blues music from the last century. Their music takes on an “old time” blues feel.
2 p.m. | Deep Dish Divas
Deep Dish Divas are dishin' up an eclectic mix of music including vintage songs from the 20s, 30s & 40s, folk, swing, a cappella, traditional tunes & more--featuring original arrangements and tight, 3-part vocal harmonies! This unique trio appeals to all ages and consists of Iowa natives: Karen Pierce (guitar, hammered dulcimer & vocals), Deb Hunemuller (fiddle & vocals), and Carrie Kriz (bass & vocals).
